How to Apply Now
RENT-GEARED-TO-INCOME UNIT
To Apply you must:
- Be looking for a unit size 2-4
- Have at least one status card for someone over the age of 18
- Have a copy of birth certificates for everyone in the house
- Have a copy of a SIN card or paper for everyone 16+
- Have the most recent Notice of Assessment
- Submit a completed RGI Application to Priscila, prempel@tipimoza.com
AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS
To Apply you must:
- Be looking for a unit size 1-3
- Have Indigenous ancestry and fill out a self-declaration
- Have a copy of birth certificates for everyone in the house
- Have a copy of a SIN card or paper for everyone 16+
- Have the most recent Notice of Assessment
- Submit a completed Affordable Housing Application to Priscila, prempel@tipimoza.com
PORTABLE HOUSING ALLOWANCE
To apply for Portable Housing Allowance:
- Only suitable for one person
- Looking for a bachelor or one bedroom
- Meet one of the two criteria
Option 1:
- Indigenous adult (18+)
- Risk of homelessness or currently homeless
- Has a developmental disorder or is on ODSP
- Submit a completed PHA Application to Shanna, smallett@tipimoza.com
Option 2:
- Be looking for a unit size 1-3
- Indigenous Youth (18-24)
- Risk of homelessness or currently homeless
- Submit a completed PHA Application to Shanna, smallett@tipimoza.com
Transitional Housing – 113 Lower Union
To apply for Portable Housing Allowance:
- Only suitable for one person
- Bachelor unit with shared accommodation
- Must be homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Must be willing to follow core rules
- Attend programming (5 / week)
- No guests during unstaffed
- Submit a completed Program Checklist, Self Declaration and Lower Union Application to Andrea, awardell@tipimoza.com
